Home builder
General contractor

Écohabitations boréales was launched in 2008. We built the first LEED home in the Laurentians.

Écohabitations boréales holds a contractor’s license from the Régie du Bâtiment du Québec (RBQ). This qualification is mandatory to take charge of the construction of a new home from A to Z. By entrusting us with your construction project, you’ll save time and benefit from our excellent network of subcontractors and our expertise in completing your entire project.

Your land,
your plan

We build on your land, according to your plan and budget. We have partners with whom we can draw up a complete plan based on your requirements. We can also build to your architect’s design. Every project is unique, and building customized homes is our specialty.

A pleasant
experience

We know that our customers’ home projects are very important moments in their lives. We believe that building a home should be an enjoyable and stimulating experience.
We know how to work as a team with customers, designers and architects. We have developed a transparent project management approach that enables all partners to share technical and financial information on project progress at all times.

Excellence
and quality

Écohabitations Boréales has won eleven Domus awards, including the prestigious Builder of the Year in 2015. The Domus trophy honors professional builders who demonstrate notable qualities as business leaders, innovators and implementers of high-quality residential projects. This housing competition is administered by APCHQ Montréal-Métropolitain.
The excellence and technical quality of our constructions is also recognized by the GCR. The organization has awarded us an A quality rating. To obtain this quality rating, our company had to demonstrate its financial soundness and submit several of its constructions to mandatory GCR inspections.
Lastly, we are convinced of the importance of offering our customers a high-performance building in terms of comfort and energy savings. That’s why Écohabitations boréales is Novoclimat accredited. Écohabitations boréales is committed to creating high-performance buildings that meet the highest quality standards.

SOCIAL COMMITMENT

Écohabitations boréales has always wanted to be a socially committed company in its region. We are a recurring donor to the Fondation Dufresne (St-Jean-Baptiste school in Val-David) and the Fondation des gens heureux (St-Joseph school in Sainte-Adèle). We have also donated on several occasions to Leucan Laurentides.

As well as donating money, we also take part in fund-raising races for these organizations. We have formed a sports team that we call Team Ecohab. This team is made up of amateur athletes from our network of employees and customers. Wearing the company colors, of all ages and levels, it’s always a pleasure to get together for good causes and share the love of sport.
Écohabitations boréales is also a loyal supporter of Plein Air Sainte-Adèle. We’ve participated in trail-maintenance chores, Robin sits on the Board of Directors, and we give donations every year.

Finally, Julie sits on the APCHQ Provincial Sustainable Development Committee. This committee is made up of industry-leading contractors whose objective is to prioritize the association’s interventions in terms of sustainable building.
