Certifications

We offer all our customers the possibility of certifying their project to LEED and Novoclimat at no additional cost.

We assume all registration and certification fees, as well as all costs of external assessments and inspections required to achieve this. We have in-house knowledge of the standards to be met for these systems, and know how to direct our customers' choices to comply with them.
For both LEED and Novoclimat certification, inspection reports are issued to customers, along with certificates attesting that the objectives of these programs have been met. These are tangible documents that demonstrate the added value of your home, and can be useful in a resale context.

Thanks to these certifications, your home will offer better air quality and a healthier environment.

We install a controlled ventilation system with fresh air in all main rooms. Only Energy Star-certified heat recovery ventilators (HRVs) are installed by Novoclimat-certified ventilation professionals. Thanks to a high-performance ventilation system, excess humidity, odours and contaminants are expelled directly outside. Building materials are chosen to contain fewer allergens and elements that trigger asthma attacks and reactions to chemicals.

Our certified buildings are
also more comfortable.

The walls and roof are built using high-performance techniques that make your home more airtight than a conventional house. In addition to eliminating unpleasant draughts, moisture is prevented from penetrating the walls and damaging your home. As a result, your home is easier to heat and more comfortable.

Novoclimat
certification

Quebec’s Novoclimat program encourages the construction of new energy-efficient homes, according to specific building requirements. Novoclimat offers financial assistance of $2,000 to the homeowner once the house has been certified. This financial assistance rises to $4000 for first-time buyers.

LEED
certification

LEED for Homes is a 136-point system that recognizes performance in 8 areas with positive environmental and social impacts. LEED stands for “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design”. LEED is a certification for green and healthy homes. “It is a third-party certification program and an international benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings. It provides building owners and managers with the tools they need to make an immediate and measurable impact on the – performance of their buildings.” (Canada Green Building Council).
