This construction on a radiant slab features optimal solar orientation. Large patio doors eight feet wide by nine feet high encircle the first floor, providing plenty of natural light. Floors on the first floor are polished concrete and those upstairs are wood. The upstairs spaces are versatile and can be used as a gym or guest room.

SALES OFFICE – ÉCOHABITATIONS BORÉALES
This is our sales office. We were responsible for the entire design and construction of the building. The plans were drawn up by Atelier Idéa of Sainte-Adèle. This is the first mixed-use commercial building in the Laurentians to be LEED Gold and Novoclimat certified. It is in line with the company’s development philosophy of high-performance, durable and comfortable construction. Although this is a commercial building, it also houses three 4 1/2 apartments on the upper floors. Écohabitations boréales’ 2000 sq. ft. sales office occupies the entire ground floor. The apartments are available for rent and are all occupied at present.
LA SALLE LAKE
This second home has four bedrooms and a large open-plan living area encompassing the living room, dining room and kitchen. It was designed to accommodate the extended family comfortably. It stands out with its black cedar shingle exterior. The house is equipped with an energy self-sufficiency system in case of power failure, comprising batteries, photovoltaic solar panels and a small auxiliary electrical panel.

A water house is the concept chosen to relocate OBV CARA’s head office.
The Maison de l’Eau is in line with new trends in sustainable building, inspired by LEED certification. New environmental technologies for efficient management of water, energy and materials resources will be used in the construction of the new building.
LES ARLEQUINS
Les Arlequins is a contemporary three-level residence, originally designed as a secondary home for a family of four, with the potential to become their main residence. The mezzanine houses the primary suite, while the main living areas are located on the ground floor.The garden level includes two bedrooms and a flexible space that can evolve into a full independent unit. With central heating and cooling powered by geothermal energy, the home offers lasting comfort, energy efficiency, and a design in harmony with its natural surroundings.
MORIN-HEIGHTS
This contemporary home is perched atop a mountain, offering a breathtaking view of the Saint-Sauveur Valley. Full-height aluminum/wood windows have been cleverly positioned on the first floor to take full advantage! A high-efficiency heat pump is part of the heating system, contributing to its excellent Energuide rating. The residence boasts 3850 sq.ft. on two floors, including a double garage.
SAINTE-ROSE
This prestigious home is located in Laval’s Parc des Érables. The old house, built in the 70’s, was completely demolished to make way for this new home, better adapted to the needs of the friendly family of 5. This is how the owners gained access to this exceptional waterfront site. This residence is equipped with a geothermal system. This system considerably reduces electricity costs.
MITCHELL LAKE
Affectionately called Le nid (the nest) by its owner, this house is perched on the mountain. Its floor-to-ceiling all-aluminum windows offer solar gain and a breathtaking view of Lac Mitchell. The building was clad in white cedar exterior siding with a play of senses and original metal moldings. The number of functional features in relation to its reduced footprint is impressive.
LAC LÉON 2017
The ant the grasshopper can enjoy the beautiful Laurentian region in this chalet. As the host site is very steep, the house was designed with a garden level. The passive solar design ensures warmth and luminosity on both floors of the house. A gas fireplace in the open-plan first floor provides quick and easy supplementary heating.
MONT BALDY
Set on a flat lot cleared of trees, this residence is located on the site of a former sand pit that has been revitalized. It is a construction on a concrete slab with no basement. There are four bedrooms and a vast open-plan living space with living room, dining room and kitchen. Outside, a covered terrace with fireplace is attached to the house. A garage connected to a covered walkway will eventually complete the property. A central heat pump and hydronic radiant floor provide heating and air conditioning.
