This second home was designed and built on a steep slope lot with a south-facing view of Lac Vert. The exterior siding is made of wood particle board and the windows made of PVC. The kitchen and bathroom vanities consists of prefabricated cabinets. Programmable electronic thermostats allow to set temperatures in both presence and absence mode and reduce electricity consumption. It is a good example that a healthy, LEED and affordable home is not only possible, but achievable.
